Let’s just call it what it is, the witching hour?
OK, maybe not a real witching hour but you know, that time between work, cooking dinner, and getting the kids to bed? For working Moms and stay-at-home Moms alike, it is usually when the perfect storm takes place.
Mom is cranky, Dad is stressed, kids are tired and it has been a LONG day for all. Plus, to-do’s are piling up, the sink is loaded with dishes, paperwork and bills need to be sorted and there’s homework to be finished.
It feels like there is NO time to stop and connect. Yet, we know in our gut that isn’t true; until we prioritize uninterrupted time for parents and children, it just won’t happen.
